Welcome to Trinity United Methodist Church!

Get connected and join us on the journey!

Catlett is a small, vibrant community and these characteristics are reflected in our church as well. We love our little community church and we know that you will too! We hope you’ll visit Trinity and experience the love for Christ and for each other in all that we do.

We’ll be right here waiting for you with "open hearts, open minds, and open doors," where we’ve been since 1872—right in the heart of Catlett!

There's a great blend of Methodist tradition and innovation in our worship. Music leads the worship. Whether it’s the traditional Methodist hymns sung by the congregation, the choral pieces sung by our choir, or praise and contemporary Christian hits led by our band, Living Flame, we LOVE to worship God with song!

Our pastor’s messages are scripture-led and you'll find words to live by each week. The service is usually an hour long, with times of singing, private prayers, and engaging messages.

When you arrive you can grab a parking spot anywhere! When facing the front of the white building, the entrance door is on the left-hand side. An usher will be there to greet you and direct you to a seat. We have a policy of "come as you are." You can dress how you feel comfortable - be that "Sunday dress" or blue jeans.

Trinity offers opportunities for personal, spiritual growth throughout the week:
  • Our communion table is open to all. We celebrate communion the first Sunday of each month.
  • We have four Sunday school classes, beginning at 9:45 am in the Sunday school wing, for elementary, tweens, teens, and adults.
  • During the service, there is a children’s message each week, delivered by laity.
  • Nursery is available by caring adults.
  • We have weekly Tuesday night Bible studies and book studies, see Upcoming Events for more information.
  • Our choir and Living Flame band meet weekly for practice and fellowship.
  • We have monthly United Methodist Women’s and United Methodist Men's groups.
  • Alcoholics Anonymous meets every Monday night.
  • Food preparation for Fauquier Family Shelter Services once a month.
  • Teams glean crops for Society of St. Andrew’s.
  • Monetary relief provided to Methodist-sponsored organizations.
  • Preparation of health and school kits for distribution around the world.
  • Vacation Bible School is the fourth week of July.
